Can I buy Polygon with naira through Banxa?

Not at the moment. Banxa does not currently serve customers in Nigeria, so a POL order placed from Nigeria will not complete, whether it is paid by card or bank transfer, and whether it is priced in naira or in another currency.

Would a VPN or an address outside Nigeria get around it?

No. Banxa checks where a customer is when the order is created and blocks VPN traffic, and its own documentation says a customer in a country it does not serve cannot complete an order whatever the residence on their account.
