What is USD Coin (Nigeria)
Selling USD Coin (USDC) through Banxa is not available from Nigeria, because Banxa does not currently serve customers there. Location is checked when an order is created and VPN traffic is blocked, so a USDC sell order placed from Nigeria will not go through.
USDC has its own market history. In March 2023, USDC briefly traded as low as 87 cents during the Silicon Valley Bank closure because Circle held a portion of reserves at SVB. The peg recovered within days. Day-to-day, USDC trades within fractions of a cent of one dollar.
